The Role of Arabic in Teaching and Reciting the Quran

Alhamdulillah, today, Sunday 8 September 2024 at the STIQ Isy Karima auditorium in Karanganyar, Central Java, a dauroh event was held with the theme The Role of Arabic Language and Teaching in Tahfizhul Qur’an, with As Shaykh Dr. Abu Aiman Al Qomari (lecturer at STIBA Ar Rayya Sukabumi-West Java).

Hopefully this dauroh can provide enlightenment for dauroh participants who teach the Qur’an which is certainly closely related to the application of Arabic in it. The event, which was pioneered by the majma ‘lughoh Arabic language institution in collaboration with STIQ Isy Karima, hopes to be able to deliver the dauroh participants to be more professional in applying their knowledge as the theme presented.

‘The Companions never distinguished between Qur’an & Arabic Learning & History records all Daulahs opened by Islam to be Qur’anic & Lugowi States and it is unfortunate that institutions distinguish between Arabic & Qur’anic lessons or take one and leave the other.’

Of course, this event would not have run smoothly without the support and participation of all parties, both the organising committee and sponsors, who have contributed with time, energy, and whatever is needed to ensure the success of this event. Alhamdulillah, this dauroh event was attended by approximately 350 participants from representatives of educational institutions and pesantren as well as all majma ‘lughoh students and students from STIQ Isy Karima.
