Book Review of Tadrib al-Fam ‘ala Wajhai Hafsh “an ”Ashim

Alhamdulillahirabbil’aalamiin, on Saturday, 20 July 2024, STIQ Isy Karima 6th semester students have participated in the Dauroh of the Book of Tadrib al-Fam ‘ala Wajhai Hafsh “an ”Ashim which is held online. This Dauroh is entitled ‘When 2 Muqri’ Meet to Dissect Hafsh’s History in Riung Huffazh.’ This Dauroh which discusses the science of qiro’at was organised by the Riung Huffazh Indonesia Foundation in collaboration with Markaz Qiro’at Indonesia and Isy Karima College of Qur’anic Sciences.

In the dauroh, STIQ Isy Karima students had the opportunity to take knowledge from two Indonesian muqri‘ figures, namely al-Ustadz al-Muqri’ Muhammad Al-Farabi, Lc., M.Ag. and al-Ustadz al-Muqri’ Mochamad Ihsan Ufiq, Lc., MA.

This dauroh activity was opened directly by Ustadz Abu Syech Nur Rohman, Chairman of the Riung Huffazh Indonesia Foundation, and continued with the first session of the dauroh in the form of material presentation by ustadz Mochamad Ihsan Ufiq, Lc., MA, author of the book Tadrib al-Fam ‘ala Wajhai Hafsh “an ”Ashim who is also the coach of Markaz Qiro’at Indonesia. Then in the second session, the owner of Qiro’at Pedia who is also the author of the book Kupas Tuntas Riwayat Hafsh, ustadz Muhammad Al-Farabi, Lc., M.Ag., as the book reviewer at this dauroh dissected the book of Tadrib al-Fam ‘ala Wajhai Hafsh “an ”Ashim with an interesting and easy-to-understand explanation.

The dauroh activity went smoothly, starting at 08.00 WIB and ending at 16.20 WIB. Hopefully the knowledge that has been obtained by the students from the dauroh can be useful, especially in increasing knowledge about the science of qiro’at.
