STRENGTHEN PRE-MARITAL KNOWLEDGE, LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP

Last Sunday on May 21, 2023, the Student Executive Board in collaboration with the Women’s Residence of the Isy Karima College of Al-Qur’an Sciences held a pre-marital talk show with the theme SERASI, “Sesurga Sehidup Semati”. The event was held on the first floor of the Ar-Roudhoh MTQ Isy Karima Mosque and was attended by all internal students and dozens of external participants by inviting representatives of institutions from the Solo Raya Ma’had Aly network.

The premarital talk show seminar this time was designed in such a way as to present a new nuance in pre-marriage studies by inviting the founder couple of the Household School from West Java, Kang Ulum A. Saif and Teh Febrianti Almeera. The background of the two presenters who are “hijrah-an” couples emphasizes self-improvement before starting to improve the ummah, because as pepew tea (teh febri’s nickname) revealed, that marriage leads to the ummah.

With the holding of this premarital talk show, students showed their attention to the importance of marriage, starting from being careful of a mindset to solving the problems of the people. Being an expert in the theory of a particular field does not make a person perfect without flaws in behavior. Alhamdulillah, this premarital talk show can be carried out well with the permission of Allah and become one of the means for institutions and students to connect with various groups.
