Student Discussion Welcomes Future Educational Challenges

The Research and Development Division of the Student Executive Board has held a discussion activity which was attended by all STIQ Isy Karima students on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the STIQ Isy Karima Auditorium. This activity is one of the annual work programs of BEM STIQ Isy Karima which aims to hone students' abilities in conveying arguments, maintaining opinions and being open to opposing arguments.

The inaugural STIQ Discussion activity carried the theme "Welcoming the Challenges of Next Generation Education, Homeschooling or Formalschool". This theme was raised as a form of preparation for the responsibilities of female students in the future, especially when they have become a mother figure in the family.

The discussion activity started one week before the main event was held, students were divided into 8 groups based on semester to discuss the discussions obtained, 4 groups discussing formalschool and 4 groups discussing homeschooling. Independent discussion activities are carried out in a controlled manner by each group leader who will then be presented during the main event on Thursday. The discussion activity on the D-day implemented a guided debate system guided by Ustadzah Farida M.Ag who is one of the lecturers at STIQ Isy Karima, and is very experienced in the practice of parenting.
